Had a lovely meal today, steak a little Over done however this was outshone by the lovely Joe who looked after us. He’s such a lovely guy and it was a pleasure to meet.

I have not tried everything on the menu, however I have visited twice now and both times I have been really disappointed with the quality of the food. Overcooked steak and chicken, side items served luke-warm nearly cold and portions small. Both time there were items on the salad bar that were not fresh. When these things were politely mentioned to the waiter we were met with a cold attitude which did not make for a nice experience. I appreciate the response from the owners acknowledging my experience as I am writing this purely so others might not make the same mistake by choosing to spend their money here.

Had a cracking lunchtime meal today. Friendly staff, really good food at this Harvester in Old Windsor. We used to go the Toby place just down the road, but stopped going there as food went down hill and the staff looked tired and really didn't look like they wanted to be there. However, you couldn't get more of a complete opposite experience at the Harvester. Walked in right smack in the middle of Sunday lunch. We hadn't booked as it was a last minute decision to go get some lunch.(I would say best to book a table if possible) The young lady who greeted us (sorry didn't catch her name!) was polite and found us a seat straight away. This is a busy restaurant but the atmosphere was really good and relaxed. We sat down and our waiter (Damien) turned up to say 'Hi' and asked us if any of us had any allergies. I do, so mentioned my allergy. Damien immediately explained how to check the menu for allergy information via the QR code or if you are not comfortable using the QR, Damien would be happy to go over ingredients etc. He also explained that the salad bar, due to the nature of how it works, might have cross contamination and I had two choices. I could go and get the salad myself or I could tell Damien what salad I wanted and he would get it fresh from the kitchen ensuring no cross contamination would happen. I was extremely impressed with these choices. Thankfully, my allergy isn't an extreme one like a peanut allergy. So I chose to get the salad myself. Damien explained once I chosen my food he would show me the allergy chart and get me to sign a few electronic forms. All really easy to do and Damien explained it very well and I was reassured all would be good. We order our food and went and got our drinks and went to the salad bar whilst we waited for our main meal to arrive. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Don't do what we did and forget to get check the salad sauce bar which has bread rolls and a good selection of mayo's etc. We ordered the flatbread main meal. I had the chicken flatbread and my wife and daughter had the halloumi flatbread. I would recommend doing what I did and ask for the sage and onion sauce to be put in a small side pot. My wife and daughter had the sauce over the flatbread, they said it was really nice but quite over powering as there are alot of flavours all at once. Just something to be aware of. I loved the pink pickled onion on my chicken flatbread, such a fresh taste that worked great with the rest of the flatbread. All in the food was great overall, it looked good, smart presentation and was extremely fresh with a generous portion of brilliant tasting chips too. Something else I recommend is getting the Harvester app. It looks like you get more gifts and discounts the more you use it. My wife quickly signed up whilst we were waiting for our food. When my wife showed Damien we had the app, he checked and showed us we were eligible for a 25% discount on the bill. Something he didn't have to do but was happy to show us. Happy days! We paid and went on our way. We honestly had a really good experience made so much better by the staff being polite and friendly, the food being fresh, hot and tasted great. I do have to put a 'shout out' to Damien. He is the perfect example of how to do the job right. Great service. Definitely will return 100%

We regularly use the Bells of Ouzleley. We had an original combo and haddock today which was, as always, lovely. Damion very courteous and helpful. Just one thing.....the corn bread on the original combo used to come with chillies which we prefer.

I asked for a specific table and you kindly made that available for me. The food menu was extensive.. something for everybody as some in our party were vegetarian and had a gluten free allergy. The food was really tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal. Abbie our waitress was attentive and professional and did us proud. She made sure we had all we need and was always there when we needed her. Thank you for a great afternoon

Brilliant service today, I really enjoyed the rack of ribs, It was worth eating something I can agree on rather than pick the stuff that might have the stuff that's not my cup of tea!! Thanks for making our day the best ever!!

We have been coming to the Bells of Ouzeley Harvester for many years as it’s my mothers favourite especially the salad bar. We always request a certain table as it is quieter. Our favourite waiter Damion usually serves us. He is so professional and nothing is too much trouble for him. I can highly recommend the food and especially the service.

Took my family here for a get together lunch with my Grandchildren, Baby had her own highchair and the staff treated all of us very well including my 3 year old grandson. Our waiter Joe was friendly and very polite and attentive.. he made sure there were no allergies etc.. Small wait for the food as it was very busy but when it all came I have to say it was the best meal any of us have had for a long time and definitely the best Harvester meal so far. All of us had different meals and each one was well cooked, good portion sizes and really tasty. Will definitely visit again and try different dishes. Well worth the money spent.
